Trading Places — The New Deal
In the last 40 years, the Port of London, at its height the largest port in the world, has been transformed into a combination of London’s new financial district and desirable residential quarter. 19th century warehouses were converted into apartments and offices, large shopping districts and a new transport system with new underground, airport and high speed rail were built and the area was enhanced by contemporary sculpture. Now a short distance from the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
